Terms of Service
Last updated June 11, 2026
These terms govern your use of Neutrino, the AI-assisted technical interview platform at neutrino.sh, including the recruiter platform and the candidate terminal app. By creating an account or taking an assessment, you agree to them.
01
The service
Neutrino lets hiring teams create coding assessments from their own repositories, observe candidate sessions live, replay them, and receive AI-assisted scoring against a rubric they define. Candidates complete assessments on their own machines, in their own editors, with the AI tools they normally use.
02
Accounts and teams
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Team owners control their team's data, members, and integrations, and may remove members or delete the team at any time.
03
Hiring team responsibilities
If you use Neutrino to evaluate candidates, you are responsible for using it lawfully: complying with employment and anti-discrimination law in your jurisdiction, having a lawful basis to process candidate data, and informing candidates that their assessment session will be recorded as described in our Privacy Policy. You must only import repositories you have the right to use.
04
Candidate sessions
Before an assessment begins, the terminal app discloses exactly what is captured: files in the workspace you choose, your interactions with supported AI coding tools during the session, and your answers. By proceeding past that disclosure you consent to the capture. You may quit at any time, which stops all monitoring. Do not submit work you do not have the right to share, and do not receive help from another person during an assessment.
05
Your content
Hiring teams own the assessment content and repositories they bring; candidates own their submissions. You grant Neutrino a limited license to host, process, display, and transmit this content solely to operate the service for you. We own the platform, including its software, design, and branding.
06
AI features
Neutrino's scoring is generated by AI models and is assistive only. Scores can be incomplete or wrong, and must not be the sole basis for an employment decision — hiring decisions are made by humans on the hiring team. Submission content is processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate scores, as described in the Privacy Policy.
07
Acceptable use
You may not:
- break the law, infringe others' rights, or misuse candidate data
- probe, disrupt, or circumvent the service's security or rate limits
- reverse engineer the platform or use it to build a competing product
- misrepresent who is taking an assessment or tamper with session capture
08
Third-party services
Optional integrations (such as GitHub and Google sign-in) are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, and disconnecting an integration may limit platform functionality.
09
Termination
You may stop using Neutrino and delete your team at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, unlawful use, or risk to the service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (content rights, disclaimers, liability limits) survive.
10
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Neutrino will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and one hundred US dollars.
12
Changes
We may update these terms; we will post changes here and update the date above. Material changes will be communicated to account owners. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions about these terms? Email jeff@neutrino.sh.
